Project Case
Jiumu Luxury Custom Wood Finishing – Custom Mixed Oil & Water-Based Paint Solutions
This factory has newly launched a specialized custom paint manufacturing plant with a current workforce of 40 employees.
Production equipment layout: one UV primer spraying line, one water-based topcoat spraying line and one automatic spraying robot.Supporting facilities include standardized sanding booths, professional spray booths and air-energy drying rooms.
Products: Furniture, cabinet panels
Process: UV primer, water-based topcoat, robotic spraying
1. Production Line Configuration & Equipment Selection
Production Line Layout Optimization: The customer equipped a reciprocating UV primer spraying line and water-based topcoat line. Restricted by factory space and energy consumption, the topcoat drying oven was eliminated. Instead, a flash-off booth combined with a forced drying oven was adopted to resolve drying requirements.
Equipment Functional Division: Reciprocating sprayers undertake main surface spraying tasks. Robotic sprayers handle small-batch custom orders, high-end products, and components with low backside finishing requirements. A manual spraying station is also configured for touch-up painting and black line outlining.
Dust Removal System Upgrade: It is recommended that customers avoid double-sided dust cleaning, which tends to cause contamination on workpiece back surfaces. Custom protective spraying paired with manual spraying stations is advised to accommodate complex-shaped workpieces.
2. Workshop Environment & On-site Management
Dust-free Control: Sanding rooms adopt central dust extraction with scraper-type dust removal to maintain a dust-free working environment. UV spraying rooms feature fully enclosed structures with dedicated viewing passages reserved to minimize dust interference.
Space Utilization Optimization: For robotic spraying installation, rigid space requirements are specified: a width reservation of 7–8 meters and a depth reservation of 10 meters (including a 2-meter-wide passage). Cases utilizing side access doors to alleviate space shortages are shared for reference.
Detail Design Solutions: Practical on-site management tips are provided, including fitting red sponge anti-collision pads on temporary drying racks and adopting double-door layouts for easy trolley access and transit.

Core Advantages of Equipment Upgrade
Greatly Improved Production Efficiency
Continuous automatic operation eliminates repeated manual spraying. The daily processing capacity of a single production line rises by over 60%, greatly shortening the delivery cycle of wood door finishing.
Stable & Consistent Finishing Quality
The intelligent robot follows precise pre-set spraying paths, delivering uniform paint film thickness and eliminating common defects such as uneven coating, sagging and missing spray areas caused by manual operation.
Sharp Reduction in Scratches & Surface Damages
Workpieces are easily scratched or bumped during manual handling and handheld spraying. The fully enclosed automatic conveying system avoids direct physical contact with panels, drastically cutting reject rates from surface abrasion.
Lower Paint Consumption & Better Cost Control
The enclosed spray booth with paint recovery system cuts paint waste by 35%. Matched with air-energy drying rooms, overall energy consumption is also reduced.
Standard Dust-Free Production EnvironmentEquipped with PURETE standardized sanding booths, sealed spray booths and constant-temperature drying rooms, perfectly catering to high-end customized mixed oil & water-based paint finishing
